Our Mission Statement

Little Sparrows Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the way children experience Foster Care. Little Sparrows seeks community advocacy and awareness to provide activities, compassion, education, and basic need for children placed in Foster Care through the love of Jesus Christ.

Little Sparrows Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting foster care children and at-risk families through advocacy, creative outreach, resource distribution, and heart-centered support.

Our mission is to offer Love - Hope - Compassion.

We believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe—and every caregiver deserves tools and encouragement to thrive. Whether through family workshops, parenting support groups, or monthly donation distributions, we create spaces where healing and empowerment are intertwined.

Our programs are built on compassion, empathy, structure, and joy. We also offer strength-based coaching, helping individuals reframe adversity and rediscover their potential.

Inspired by the biblical reminder that not even a sparrow is forgotten, our name reflects our commitment to honoring every life with care and intention.

Ways We Help

The Focus of Our Efforts

Advocacy Through Community Outreach

At Little Sparrows Inc., advocacy begins with listening. Through our Foster Care Impact Survey, we engage the community in meaningful dialogue—gathering insights on public understanding, perceptions, and unmet needs within the foster care system. This outreach effort not only raises awareness but also empowers residents to become informed allies. By identifying gaps in knowledge and resources, we’re able to tailor our programs, strengthen partnerships, and advocate for more compassionate, effective support for foster youth and their caregivers.

Monthly Donation Distributions

Each month, we provide essential items—clothing, bedding, duffle bags, hygiene kits, school supplies—to meet the foster care community's needs. The recipients include children entering the local county receiving home, foster caregiver families, and families in reunification. These distributions are made possible through generous community support and volunteer coordination, and distribution.

Foster Care Parenting Support Group

Little Sparrows invites all foster parents to a time of connection, encouragement, and support. Whether you're just starting or have walked this journey for years, you are welcome here. Let's grow together, share stories, find strength, and support one another with hope and compassion. Join us on every 2nd Sunday of the Month from 4:00 to 5:00pm PST at 159 S. 6th St., Brawley, CA 92227.
